Study for Women: A Woman Who Doesn’t Quit (Nicki Koziarz) – Every woman will eventually face the temptation to give in and give up. But something transformative and powerful happens when a woman decides to persevere in the face of difficulty and pain. This study walks women through the book of Ruth, focusing on five habits to help keep your eyes on God. JoAnne Roy & Edith Wyatt will facilitate this Tuesday morning study from 9:30–11:30 in the Second Street Study.

Study for Women: Colossians (Kay Arthur) – This Precept Upon Precept inductive study will allow participants to dig deep into the Word of God and grow in spiritual discernment. The message of Colossians exposes what is going on in Christianity today and causes you to focus on the source of all life, allowing you to more clearly recognize error as you are armed with deep truths of the Scripture. Linda Horseman brings this Thursday morning study from 9:30–11:30 in the Annex.

Study for Women: The Woman Jesus Can Teach (Alice Matthews) – Discipleship is more than learning a routine–it’s an invitation to a relationship of love and trust. This study explores the lives of several women in the Gospels who were changed by an encounter with the Lord. Walk with Jesus as He defies convention and takes enormous risks to offer hope, new life, or a second chance to women. Irene Clifford and Judy Dorrin will be facilitating this Wednesday evening study from 6:30–8:00 in the fellowship hall.

Study for Women: Seamless – Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story (Angie Smith) – This study explores the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Participants will gain an overarching understanding of the fundamental layout and meaning of God’s Word and will see how all Scripture works together to present a seamless message of the Gospel. Dee Mozingo will be facilitating this Wednesday evening study 6:30–8:00 in MPF-207.

Study for Men and Women: Ephesians (J.D. Greear) – Has it ever dawned on you that nothing has ever dawned on God? He knew before the world began that His people would face hardship, so He gave us His Word. The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual; it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we’ve been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the Gospel into the darkened world. Gary Borneman will facilitate this Wednesday evening study from 6:30 to 8:00 in MPF-202.

Class for Men and Women: Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey) – This class provides a comprehensive plan for gaining control of your finances by getting rid of debt, managing your money properly, spending and saving wisely, and much more! Through video teaching, class discussions, and interactive small group activities, FPU presents practical steps to get from where you are financially to where you’ve only dreamed you could be. David and Dori Franklin will be facilitating this Wednesday evening class from 6:30–8:00 in MPF-201.

Study for Men: Thriving in Babylon (Larry Osborne) – These are confusing times for many Christians. Traditional biblical values are not only rejected, it seems as if they are attacked on every front. Many of us feel spiritually and culturally disoriented or even fearful, frustrated, and angry. This study explores how to live for God in an increasingly hostile culture by looking at the life of Daniel, a man who through the power of hope, humility, and wisdom, not only survived, but thrived in a hostile land. Steve Hall will be facilitating this Wednesday evening study from 6:30–8:00 in MPF-200.
